Services
Individual Therapy
In an individual session, we will work one-on-one to explore the story of you. We’ll work together to go over some of your concerns, your goals for therapy, and what you’re looking for in a therapist. Then, the fun begins!
Teletherapy
Group Therapy
In group therapy, it’s the therapist and a group of individuals who have shared experiences and struggles working towards a common goal that is typically determined by the group. This is a space to come as you are and to explore with others.
Teletherapy is identical to Individual Therapy, except we’ll meet in a virtual space. With teletherapy, certain limitations can exist or pop up with the use of technology. This is a great option for those wanting to do therapy from the comfort of their own space.

Frequently Asked Questions

Recognizing the need for therapy is key to maintaining mental well-being. If you feel overwhelmed by daily life, experience intense emotions like prolonged sadness or anxiety, face relationship challenges, or notice behavioral changes such as withdrawing from activities or changes in sleep patterns, it might be time to consider therapy. These signs indicate that professional help could provide the support and strategies you need to navigate your feelings and improve your quality of life. Seeking therapy is a positive step towards self-care and addressing mental health challenges. Remember, it is okay to go to therapy for “maintenance” or to verbally process things with an unbiased, licensed professional.

Individual therapy sessions last anywhere from 50-53 minutes. Why the odd time limits? Most insurance companies only pay for therapy lasting within those time limits.
Group therapy sessions last 90 minutes.
Nature therapy sessions last anywhere from 50 minutes to 90 minutes, depending on a number of variables. -
Supporting LGBTQ+ and neurodivergent clients requires creating a safe, inclusive, and affirming environment that respects their unique experiences. This involves continuous education on culturally competent care and adopting a person-centered approach that affirms clients' identities. Tailoring techniques to support individual needs, such as flexible communication styles and sensory accommodations, is crucial. Efforts also include challenging biases, dismantling stigma, and advocating for these communities' rights. By providing a therapeutic space grounded in empathy and validation, the goal is to empower clients, enhance their mental health, and promote self-acceptance. -
My cancellation policy is designed to respect both your time and mine. I require a 24-hour notice for cancellations. To accommodate unexpected circumstances, clients are granted one free late cancellation every six months; please note this does not roll over to the next period if unused. It's important to understand that a pattern of three late cancellations or no-shows within a short span may lead to the termination of services, pending a discussion to assess the situation. This policy ensures that therapy sessions remain a priority for both of us, facilitating a committed and respectful therapeutic relationship.
I do offer reschedules within the same calendar week on a case-by-case basis. This is because my schedule is often full, which limits opportunities for rescheduling. -
Billing and insurance for psychotherapy services can vary based on your health insurance provider or employee benefit plan. It's possible that services may be covered in full or in part by your insurance. To understand the specifics of your coverage, it's important to contact your provider directly. Key questions to ask include whether your plan includes mental health benefits, details about any deductibles, session limits per calendar year, and whether you need approval from your primary care physician for services to be covered.
For payment, we accept a variety of methods to make the process as convenient as possible. This includes cash, check, and all major credit cards. Upon beginning therapy, we require a credit card to be placed on file during intake. Our preferred method of payment is by credit or debit card, ensuring a smooth and efficient billing process. This approach helps streamline administrative tasks and allows us to focus more on providing you with quality care. -
